Building on his recognition as September’s Apprentice of the Month, Ben Sheible continues to excel, now being nominated for the Rising Star Award during his apprenticeship with Alliance Learning. Over his 18 months with the WA Cooke Group, Ben’s dedication to learning has surpassed all expectations. He has now obtained qualifications in MIG & TIG welding, EUSR Water Hygiene, and Forklift operation.
Speaking to Ben about the nomination and his work he said:
“I’m always trying to challenge myself, so being nominated feels good. I have achieved a lot, but I couldn’t have done it without the continued support I get from everyone. The knowledge and experience I have gained from work and college have enabled me to recently start site work, which has been an enjoyable challenge as I have to adapt to my working environment. Moving forward I’m hoping to gain even more qualifications and become a coded welder, allowing me to see through projects from start to finish by myself.”
